Pagan Music Giveaway Contest!

Our good friend Bruner (aka Sparky T. Rabbit) has just re-released his wonderful CD of Pagan music, Lunacy.  We are giving away a copy of Lunacy here on the blog.   All you have to do to enter is leave a comment below that answers this question:

If a stranger walked into your house right now, what is the first thing they would see that would tip you off as a Pagan?

The winner will be drawn this Sunday!  Good luck!

  1. The crochet Goddess hanging from the chandelier in the middle of the room they would enter. It also has a ceramic goddess sitting on a moon hanging from it and some mistletoe(we never take that down), two pirate flags, and a spider hanging from the middle. :)Sparrow

  2. LOL Michelle!

it would probably be my altar in the living room (if they went there first) or the one in my craft room if they went toward the kitchen first.

and… OMG!!! it's like you guys read my mind. I was just thinking of Sparky's music this past weekend and trying to come up with a way to get my two tapes digitalized so I could get them on my ipod. So I'll just win one, right! LOL I haven't been able to listen to the tapes in years, but I still sing the songs in my head!

  3. It's hard to say what they would see first, all the Greenmen over the doorways, the altar in the front room or the bookshelves full of pagan books at eye level…

  4. 1st thing would be the plaque in nice bright orange and purple, right as soon as you step in the door hanging on the wall that says “Witch”. If they miss that, right at the bottom of our entry way is our family Altar with A Green Man Plaque above it, aswell as numerous symbols ranging from a sunwheel, Thors Hammer, and Pentagram. If they miss all that… well… they just fell down the stairs cause they have their eyes closed.

  5. First off, thanks a million to the Moores for this wonderful and generous promotion of the Lunacy music.

And Michele, FWIW, you're certainly not the first person who has wanted to digitalize the tapes through the years. Thankfully, I've (finally!) done it for you.

What's much better about the CD (versus a bootleg of the tape) is that along with the digitally remastered music, you also get the gorgeous art on the CD package — thanks to Keith Ward of Milwaukee, WI, a professional graphic artist as well as a Pagan.

For those you you who don't win the CD (although each and every one of you *will*, of course), you can find ordering information at the green Lunacy link in the intro above. That link will take you to

    http://lunacymusic.blogspot.com/

where you will find all the ordering details in the latest post. And in the next couple of weeks, you should be able to order from that site using PayPal! (Keep yer fingers crossed…)

    Happy Spring,

  6. It doesn't matter if you already picked a winner but I thought I would answer anyways! 🙂 We have an altar table in front of the fireplace and the mantle above it usually has candles and incense and sometimes a statue of a Goddess. I usually do our altar in the family room as more of a nature table that the kids add too so not sure if people would pick up just on that. 🙂

  7. I think the Wheel of the Year hanging on the wall as you walk in might give them a clue, or maybe the Quan Yin, clay goddesses(my girls made them)and dragons on our mantel. Then again it might be the separate little altars above my hubby and my computer spaces. If they didn't know us someone visiting us might get the notion that we were a little different then the norm. 🙂
